Tonbridge and Malling Ramblers

Dogs

Dogs are usually welcome on our walks. They are the responsibility of the owner and should be kept under control, on short leads when necessary.  Owners must take full responsibility with regard to health and safety issues and not allow their pet to inconvenience or endanger fellow walkers.  Dog owners must also ensure that their dog does not alarm other people or animals encountered on the walk and they must clean up after their dog. Please remember to bring water for your pet, particularly in hot weather.

If any problem arises the walk leader has the final say and, ultimately, may ask the owner and their dog to leave the walk.

It's the leader's decision whether dogs may join a walk. The term ‘Dog friendly’, will appear on the Ramblers’ webpage for walks where they are welcome.  If the phrase is not shown on the walk page, it means the leader has chosen NOT to allow dogs on their walk, other than registered assistance dogs.
